Teaching phylosophy

My teaching philosophy is centered on a combination of different approaches and methods. All the practices I engage my students in are  oriented to develop their communicative and collaborative skills.

I am in favor of group and pair work activities and tasks such as discussion, and problem solving activities which are oriented to create and put into practice thinking and self development strategies. I think that these are the most effective ways of orienting the teaching process of the students as the main learning goal for them is the development of different skills and knowledge that allow them to be successful in their personal and academic lives as well as in their future jobs.

In my opinion, teaching is an interactive process in which one person, device or method interact with other people. And learning is a personal process that is unique for every individual. Every human being might learn anything with the appropriate instruction.
The methods and approaches I privilege in my classes include some aspects of the communicative, collaborative and active approaches. The communicative approach is necessary because learners must be exposed directly to the language if we want them to acquire it effectively. Active methods are important because learning takes place best by doing and keeping an active role during this process and the collaborative approach is essential as learning is a social process constructed better when many minds work on the same problem or learning situation.

What I want?
In my teaching environment, I would like to have:

* Happy students inside and outside the classrooms
* A class which makes students forget the things that affect themselves.
* A marvelous interaction space.
* A space which brings them opportunities to use their creativity
* An Interdisciplinary space, (integrated curriculum).
* * Negotiated curricula
